Description
Some journeys are measured in miles.
Others are measured in what we carry along the way.
The Long Journey brings together a remarkable collection of Tibetan-inspired materials and forms—etched carnelian Dzi beads, amber, green jade, yak bone, wood, cloisonné glass, and richly patterned carnelian and agate beads.
At its heart are several distinctive Dzi forms: the Three-Eye Dzi, Two-Eye Dzi, Single-Line Dzi, and Treasure-Vase Dzi, each with its own ancient pattern and character. Around them, hand-etched carnelian, amber, jade, yak bone, wood, glass, and agate create a layered composition rich in color, texture, and detail.
Each bead feels like a fragment of a longer story.
The red of carnelian.
The warmth of amber.
The green of jade.
The natural character of yak bone and wood.
The intricate patterns of the Dzi.
Brought together, they create a bracelet that feels collected rather than simply made—as though every bead has traveled its own road before becoming part of this one.
For the nomad, the journey is never only about where the road leads. It is also about what is gathered, remembered, and carried forward.
Many roads. Many stories.
One journey carried close.
