Description
What stands for generations becomes part of the lives lived beneath it.
Six Tiger-Tooth Dzi meet six gourd-shaped banded agate beads, bringing together two distinct expressions of stone.
The Tiger-Tooth Dzi carry tooth-like markings, traditionally associated with courage and protection. Beside them, the gourd-shaped banded agate follows a gentler rhythm, its natural layers and earthy tones revealing patterns formed slowly within the stone. The rounded gourd form has long been appreciated across Tibetan and Asian traditions for its associations with abundance and longevity.
At the center, a charm brings the composition together. A stupa charm marks one side. The stupa is one of the most recognizable forms in Tibetan cultural landscapes — a structure built in rising layers, often found beside monasteries, along paths, and in places of gathering. More than an architectural form, it has become part of the visual memory of Tibet: something that stands through changing seasons and generations, quietly marking the landscape around it.
On the opposite side of the charm, a Zaki Lhamo charm brings another expression of Tibetan cultural tradition, traditionally associated with fortune and prosperity.
Beneath the stupa, generations continue their ordinary lives — gathering what they need, facing uncertainty, finding fortune, and carrying their experiences onward.
There is something deeply human in that contrast: the world changes around us, yet certain places remain to witness it.
The bracelet holds a similar tension. The Tiger-Tooth Dzi speaks to what we need when the road becomes difficult. The gourd-shaped agate suggests what life gives us to gather and cherish. The stupa and Zaki Lhamo carry traces of a cultural landscape where these ideas have been passed from one generation to another.
Beneath the Stupa is ultimately about living within the passage of time — finding strength when needed, receiving what comes, and carrying something of where we have been into whatever comes next.
